01 / The challenge

The problem worth solving.

Image generation takes time. The frontend needed to make upload, processing, and result states understandable so users could follow progress without feeling that the application had stopped responding.

02 / My contribution

Where I took ownership.

  • Implemented image selection, upload, and progress feedback.
  • Managed processing, waiting, and error states.
  • Presented the generated result through a coherent product flow.
03 / The approach

Decisions behind the experience.

01

An approachable starting point

Built image selection and upload flows that pass the room photo to the server for generation.

02

Feedback through the wait

Presented upload progress, processing feedback, and waiting or error states around the long-running request.

03

A clear result

Displayed the generated visualization in relation to the source image. AI inference remains on the server; the frontend owns the user journey.

04 / What this work enables

Engineering that serves the workflow.

The interface turns a server-side AI process into an understandable sequence: upload a room, follow the processing state, and explore the generated visualization.
